Oban 14
Recommended
Oban
Highlands • Single Malt • 43% ABV
Oban 14 Year Old is the signature expression from one of Scotland's smallest distilleries, sitting on the west coast between the Highlands and the islands. Its character brings together rich fruit and malt sweetness with gentle spice, nuttiness and subtle maritime influence.
Produced using small copper stills and traditional worm-tub condensers, Oban retains a full, slightly weighty character while remaining approachable. At 14 years old, it offers an interesting middle ground between the fruitier Highland style and the more coastal character found further west.

Our Take
An enjoyable whisky from the first pour. Slightly sweet, with honey, marzipan and a distinctive nutty character. Balanced, approachable and one I’d happily come back to.
